@Drkingsbruh @okwhocaresidk It might hurt individual negotiations but barely. What the cap does is flatten the salaries of higher earners (LeBron, Curry, KD) and increase the salaries of the avg player. In a free market, KD would make much more and KCP much less.

Contract at the NBA are not a zero sum game at the labor X capital level. It is pre-set at 51-49. Nothing changes that. Players are not making less $ it’s 51%
