RWANDAN DOCTOR SAVES ISRAELI SENIOR CITIZEN
Rwandan doctor Dr. Jean de Dieu Nsanzimana saved the life of Israeli senior citizen Roni Moshe at Wolfson Medical Center. Roni suddenly suffered cardiac arrest after a heavy, free-floating tumor completely blocked his heart’s mitral valve. Dr. Nsanzimana was part of the medical team that successfully treated the life-threatening condition, highlighting Rwanda-Israel medical ties and the growing role of Rwandan-trained doctors abroad. #FactsOnRwanda
Today I saw Tikkun Olam, "Healing the World," in action.
These exceptional Israeli organizations are working in Zambia to share innovation and save lives. From heart surgeries for children through @SaveChildsHeart, to water and agriculture projects by @innoafrica, to community and food security initiatives by @tevelbtzedek and @AidCultiv, their major contribution to Africa embodies the Israeli spirit.
This is the essence of Israel. Doing good. Healing a fractured world. Believing that our national revival must serve as a source of good for all of humanity.
🇧🇪 Three Islamists have been arrested in Belgium for plotting "jihadist-inspired terrorist attacks" and the assassination of the Prime Minister
During a raid on one of their apartments, police found what appeared to be an improvised explosive device, shrapnel components, and a 3D printer used to manufacture bomb parts.
Antwerp police said the suspects planned to use drones carrying homemade explosives for their "jihadist-inspired attacks", with one of their intended targets being Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever.
All of the detainees are reported to hold radical Islamist views. The suspects were born in 2001, 2002 and 2007.
Two of them were being questioned by federal police and were due to appear before an investigating judge on Friday, while the third suspect was released.
Do not be cowed into silence after the brutal murder of Charlie Kirk. Just spoke to @DouglasKMurray who reminded me of what @Ayaan said after the Charlie Hebdo massacre; speak up louder and spread the risk.
I mean, this, and everything else - the reputational threats, the coercion, the censorship apparatus, the relentless media propaganda, the constant lies and dissembling - it’s all downstream of constant losing.
Those who justify shooting a man armed only with a microphone to debate ideas on campus share the same mindset as the Islamist extremists who murder cartoonists armed only with a pencil and paper. #JeSuisCharlie#jesuischarliekirk
My friend Charlie Kirk was the best of America. A self-made man, a young husband and father, and a patriot, he was relentlessly positive about the future. He dedicated his life to making a difference with young people, drawing huge crowds everywhere he went. He was open to ideas and willing to debate anyone. That good-natured openness is what got him killed by an intolerant lunatic. Charlie was winning the debate, and for that, he had to be silenced, permanently. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Erika and his family.
I feel sick to my stomach learning the news that a father and husband has been shot and killed.
I said it after October 7th, and nobody listened. Instead, the world celebrated Hamas as “freedom fighters.”
I said it after Brian Thompson, and nobody listened. Instead, the world championed Luigi Mangione as a “hero of the oppressed.”
I said it 4 months ago when two innocent Americans were shot and killed while the shooter screamed “free Palestine,” and nobody listened. Instead, the world said it was inevitable.
I said it just last week when a school shooter’s manifesto was found inscribed with all the same rhetoric as above.
Do you see the pattern yet? At every turn, what’s been clear as day to sober eyes has been repeatedly ignored by the entire nation: that left-wing terrorism is being quietly nurtured in the American mind. If we do not stop it, we will all eventually surrender to it.
If we allow left-wing extremism to saturate every facet of our society, from media, to education, to social media—spearheaded by radicalized influencers—it will be the death of our tolerant societies. It will be the death of plurality and dissent. It will be the death of democracy. Above all, it will be the death of us.
Now look. How many more? How much longer can we keep ignoring this?
America, are you awake now?
Like all of you, I am utterly stunned and heartbroken and sick to my soul today. It is unimaginable to write these words. I met Charlie Kirk when he was 18 years old, a young man so eager and determined that I immediately turned to a friend and said, “That kid is going to be the head of the RNC one day.” Charlie became even bigger and more important than that. It was a privilege to watch this principled man stand up for his beliefs and create the single most important conservative political organization in America. But more importantly, Charlie was a good man, a man who believed in right and wrong, who stood by his Biblical values. All of us will miss him, and I can’t imagine the pain of his beautiful young family, and we must all pray for them. And we must pick up the baton where Charlie left it, fighting for the things he believed in so passionately. And we must fight for a better America - an America where good people can speak truth and debate passionately without fear of a bullet. I weep for Charlie’s family, and I weep for my country today. Most of all, I weep for Charlie.
