⚡️ @MultiversX just hit a new TPS record
The network reached 21,798 TPS on September 24, setting a new peak for its throughput 👀
21K+ TPS is a serious benchmark for any blockchain

MultiversX is currently investigating a potential mainnet issue
No exploit, downtime, or lost funds have been confirmed yet, but the team says an update is coming within 12 hours
EGLD price holding steady around $4.12 for now
Worth watching closely if you hold or trade on the chain
A few notes, only for some crypto people.
If you’re not in crypto, please keep scrolling. Nothing to see here.
1. Is Supernova live and delivered?
YES. After years of work, it’s live. It works. It’s delivered.
2. Does this change your life?
Yes and no. Yes, if you’re building something cool and know how to find users.
No, if you're not looking to building anything.
3. Does the Finance Computer use MultiversX?
YES. Does it use EGLD? Yes.
4. Is the Finance Computer a product for crypto people? Another thing for crypto people to generously bless with their omniscient wisdom?
No. It’s not built for crypto people.
Their omniscient wisdom, fortunately, doesn’t apply here. :)
5. Will the Finance Computer spend every day talking about crypto?
No. Plain and simple.
This is a distinct B2B distribution product.
It targets businesses, not crypto users. It speaks their language, solves their problems, and focuses on delivering a service they actually want to use. Less explaining crypto. More of making money actually work better.
6. Now that Supernova is live, will there be new use cases?
YES. That’s precisely the point.
The Finance Computer is a new interface for bringing these capabilities into the real world.
Different audience. Different language. Different distribution. Same underlying rails.
7. Will there be announcements and partnerships?
YES.
8. When when when, sirs? Can we have everything today?
No. Not everything today.
During next week and September, we’ll start sharing the first business use cases. Something merchants and companies can use in a simple way. Beyond that, we’ll have some focused workshops around what the Finance Computer can actually unlock for businesses.
Simple language. Clear benefits. Clear next steps. Use cases businesses can use today.
9. Do we have strategic use cases that validate the Finance Computer and meaningfully accelerate momentum?
YES. Some very interesting ones. That is the entire point of the finance computer. Let those be cooked. We announce them when they are shipped, or just ready.
10. So when do we get all the information?
At the right time. What I can say is this: this quarter will be defining for both the Finance Computer and MultiversX from a business adoption and real-world use case standpoint.
We have shipped a massive infrastructure upgrade, with a completely new interface, that speaks a different language for the business world. Taking that further is the focus now. Crawl, walk, run.
11. Isn't it unprofessional or impolite to block trolls who fill my posts and timeline with NPC rubbish?
No. We worked for two years on Supernova. Actually, much longer. We set out to deliver an extremely difficult technical milestone, and we delivered it.
Together with the entire team, I am very proud of that milestone. We now stand at the very frontier of performance, on the right ground, with a clear suite of money services ready for the business world.
So yes, trolls will disappear from my timeline. Better for everyone that way. In computer science, we have a technical term for this. It’s called garbage collection. Works surprisingly well, highly recommended. :)
12. Are we here to solve all the world's problems?
No. We’re here to build a great product and deliver it.
Take what is useful. Build on it. Adapt it. Move forward. That’s it.
13. But but but, isn’t this supposed to be for everyone?
No. Not everything needs to be for everyone.
What we are building stands for something specific. A better way of accessing, moving and programming money. If it resonates with you, and you need it, great. Come build, use it, contribute, push it forward. If it doesn’t, also great. Life is short. Find something else that does.
14. One final thing.
Crypto, generally, has gotten so toxic that it feels more and more like an autoimmune disease, the body eating itself from the inside. We are in the process of treating that toxicity. Changing the focus, applying more effort on money used in the real world, communicating to the right distribution target, and spending less time on things that are clearly misaligned.
Simple steps can go a long way. That’s the direction.
/end of professional rant :)

Ps. That said, for the rest of the cool people here, the Finance Computer makes things simple for real world money movement adoption. It abstracts rocket science technology, and makes things just work.
Next week we are sharing some simple use cases that enable businesses to take this product and use it. It also enables you as an individual to find businesses you are close to, or love, deliver this to them, and potentially make some money as they adopt it.
Anyway. With these milestones delivered, and the new Finance Computer unveiled, we have officially entered the adoption phase.
Introducing the Finance Computer.
A simple API for everything finance.
A new way for money to move.
A new reality for what money can be.
For brands, businesses and machines.

After more than 2 years of efforts, upgrades, fixes, discoveries by many many talented people in the team,
SUPERNOVA IS NOW DELIVERED AND LIVE!
Enormous step forward for the ecosystem today.
Capital at machine speed.
⚡️JUST IN: MultiversX’s Supernova upgrade is producing 600-millisecond blocks on testnet by decoupling consensus from transaction execution, with mainnet activation expected Sept. 10.
https://t.co/8i4gSaokf5
Supernova features in @Cointelegraph today.
Good writeup about how we decouple consensus from execution to achieve finality below 250ms and 600ms blocks on a fully sharded network.
https://t.co/Y1m6NpJR29
🚨 JUST IN: @MultiversX hit a new validator record
3,267 validators now secure the network, making it one of the largest validator networks in Web3
The path to the Internet-Scale Blockchain starts with strong decentralization
📊 https://t.co/zTwQ0RQrN4
The number moved. 173,000 total commits.
#6 in the entire blockchain industry by raw output. New data from @chainspect_app.
───
We out-ship Solana by 1.9x. Aptos by 3.3x. Bitcoin by 1.4x.
On commits per developer, the metric that strips out headcount, we are #3. Output per engineer.
───
Where most of those commits went is not features, but full focus on security.
Every frontier AI model release is now a security event. The pipeline pauses. The team redirects to one thing. Close every finding that model just made possible.
We have built since 2017. Hundreds of thousands of lines across consensus, sharding, the VM and networking. Re-examined against last week's baseline, not last quarter's.
200+ fixes folded into mainnet first. Then carried into Supernova, so it ships above parity, not at parity.
This is the work that does not make headlines or move price. Right now it is the only work that matters.
───
The result: Supernova full developed and scheduled. Sub-second finality on a fully sharded chain. ~80ms in testing. 656,000 TPS under load. Proven through Battle of Nodes, where the community broke it on real hardware and we shipped stronger.
───
Pause the pipeline. Close the findings.
Harden the system. Then ship.
This is the plan for MultiversX and $EGLD.
In 2020, we set out to do the impossible: build an internet-scale blockchain that gives up none of scale, decentralization, or security.
Supernova is the culmination of six years of building toward it.
For humans, for agents, for builders of every kind.
Ok so should you be bullish on @MultiversX ?!
According to data on the @chainspect_app platform, MultiversX has hit a new all-time high in terms of weekly activity...
... after processing more than 230,000 transaction in the space of just one day.
At time of writing, the platform's native $EGLD token has a market cap of more than $100 million, but remains suppressed below former highs of nearly $8.7 billion.
We just made xExchange a lot faster.
New backend architecture replaces 1,200+ cache calls per query with a single in-memory lookup. Snappier page loads, real-time prices, and ready for Supernova's sub-second blocks.
Same API, zero breaking changes — just faster.
Full deep dive 👇
150 commits per developer. #3 in the entire blockchain industry.
New rank coming from Chainspect_app for every ecosystem by productivity. Not team size. Not total commits. Output per engineer.
───
2.7x Ethereum. 2.4x Bitcoin. 3.5x Aptos. Solana isn't in the top 25.
Three weeks ago I posted about 171,000 total commits. That got us to #6 by volume. This metric is sharper. It strips away headcount and measures velocity.
A team of 50 shipping 150 commits each tells you something different than a team of 500 shipping 15.
───
What those commits produced in the last 20 days alone:
xMoney (XMN) live on Binance Alpha. Regulated stablecoin payments infrastructure, now on the world's largest exchange.
Over 100 security submissions poured in from the community during Battle of Nodes. They didn't find toy bugs. They found real protocol-level edge cases that no amount of internal testing could surface. The kind of findings that led to two live mainnet upgrades and multiple network-level fixes before Supernova even reaches mainnet. One finding was critical enough to require a hard fork on testnet. Detected, patched, recovered within hours. Cross-shard latency behavior under adversarial conditions was identified and corrected. Transaction pool handling at sustained 120,000 TPS exposed patterns that only emerge when hundreds of real validators on real hardware push a network built from mainnet-equivalent state to its limits. Including nodes running on Raspberry Pis. One billion transactions processed. Not on a clean testnet. On a battle-hardened proving ground.
Most chains test in private and ship hoping nothing breaks. We opened the gates, invited the community to break it, and came out with a stronger protocol on the other side.
Six agentic commerce protocols now live on one chain combining MCP, UCP, ACP, MPP, x402, AP2. The organizations behind them: Google, Stripe, OpenAI, Anthropic, Visa, Shopify, Linux Foundation.
MvX SC MCP shipped. AI agents building and deploying smart contracts natively on MultiversX.
───
This is what a small, focused team compounding through a bear market looks like.
Shipping. Every week. Every commit. Every protocol integration.
The data is public. The code is open. The infrastructure is live.
───
This is MultiversX. This is $EGLD.
⚡️ NEW: @CTDG_DevHub is now an official staking partner of @MultiversX.
Users can delegate to a CTDG validator to support the network and earn staking rewards.
JUST IN: Cointelegraph is the largest crypto media company in the world. They are now becoming a MultiversX validator. 🔥
That's the strongest signal media can send, putting reputation on the line to secure a chain.
