The Go language looks simple until you're auditing it.
Nil maps that panic, slices that share memory, and loops that lie to your tests.

PeerDAS without wasted traffic?
@daniel_knopik from our team walks through how partial data columns (EIP-8136) can drastically reduce bandwidth requirements for block publishing, improving viability for home stakers and other node operators.
Lightning talk linked below⚡
Thank you Carl for all your hard work!
Working with you on the KZG ceremony and on Repricings was a blast.
I wish you all the best on future endeavors!
I'm giving a short but sweet talk on Partial Data Columns (EIP-8136) at @EthPrague! I'll give an overview of the mechanism and show some tasty benchmark results.

If you want to work on core Ethereum protocol — client development, testing, specs, research — this is the program for you.
i must not milady
milady is the mind-killer
milady is the little-death that brings total obliteration
i will face my milady
i will permit it to pass over me and through me.
and when it has gone past, i will turn the inner eye to see its path
where the milady has gone, there will be nothing
only i will remain
Anchor v1.2.1 is out!
This is a mandatory upgrade for all users on prior versions due to a security fix. Please upgrade ASAP. Further details to follow.
If you are running Anchor alongside Lighthouse, please also update Lighthouse: https://t.co/UscSA0JiwP
It’s been a while since we last shared our support for the QUIC protocol and its benefits. Despite its advantages, we’re still seeing many Lighthouse connections running over TCP, even though Lighthouse will try QUIC first.
To help improve overall network performance, please add a port forward in your router for UDP 9001 when running Lighthouse.
Thinking back on @EFDevconnect, my favorite side event by far was @ethclientsummit. So many interesting people, topics and talks.
Big shoutout to @sina_mahmoodi and the team for setting it up and keeping it small and focused on hardcore engineering. Thats what Ethereum needs rn!
I'll be giving a lightning talk about "Client Diversity without buzzwords in SSV" tomorrow at 1:30pm at the Node Operator Hub in La Rural's Green Pavillon!
We'll explore some specific examples of how Anchor makes @ssv_network more robust.
I will be sharing my view on how to sustainably scale Ethereum and the work we've been doing on the Scale the L1 track at the Ethereum Foundation at the Staking Gathering

Anchor is live on Ethereum mainnet 🎉 Built in Rust by Sigma Prime, Anchor becomes the second client for the SSV Network, which secures 14% of all mainnet validators.
Let's goooo! 🚀
Feels so good to ship it 🥹
Thanks to everyone who tested Anchor on testnets, thanks to the folks at SSV Labs for the great support and interesting discussions, and of course thanks to everyone at @sigp_io for being awesome ♥️⚓️
This changes @ethereum staking forever.
For the first time, multi-client DVT is live on mainnet.
More resilience. More decentralization. More choice.
Here's what that means (and why it matters) 🧵👇
Tomorrow, we take another step toward an unstoppable validator layer. ⚓
A milestone not just for SSV, but for the entire @ethereum ecosystem.
Validators, builders, and infra nerds: you’ll want to see this.👀
