I had to cancel a Mastercard after someone swiped off the card details and used it on GoDaddy. I was on ₦49,000 debit every month until I finally cancelled the card. Since then, I’ve made it a habit to scratch off the CVV as soon as I get a new card.
I don’t like how easy it is to make payments on Temu with ATM card. You just add your card, buy things , and the money gets deducted immediately. No OTP, no confirmation code.
If someone steals your card or even gets a picture of the front and back, they could easily use it to order stuff on Temu without any OTP or verification. Crazy.

@tonyfcarter@KALADIMA1972 I’d rather spend 5 seconds scratching off a CVV than trying to keep track of the due dates for dozens of subscriptions, but to each their own
There’s also the scenario where one of the competing teams faces an opponent that has already qualified or has already been eliminated. In those situations, they can stadpad because the other team wouldn’t give a fuck about the result
What I’m is saying is that qualification should be decided by factors that are within your control
@sushantchaudary@CFCDaily I’m sorry, but head-to-head between the teams concerned should come first, not a metric influenced by how either team performed against other opponents.
I never said installment was cheaper, but the initial post he quoted stated that he would knowingly agree to installmental payment whereas he he would plan to renogotiate back for full payment hoping to get a bigger discount on the original fee
Using his own analogy, I simply asked whether he would be willing to give up a ₦2.2 million discount if someone approached the deal that way. After all, that’s a discount he could have secured from the outset had he negotiated more effectively with cash upfront, rather than agreeing to one payment structure and later trying to renegotiate for a better deal.
@Victorokeke_@sirjaay But that’s not the point—it’s still not unlimited. MTN has Fiber X for actual unlimited data, but the main point is that truly unlimited mobile data plans are virtually impossible.
