I'm done with all the leadership fluff. Are you? I'll experiment with writing on Substack in 2023 to help others become better leaders - free forever.

Please share if you got value in the past 11 years from https://t.co/Alau2bRbFY, https://t.co/liPNQBmMRP, https://t.co/KlTsnvhRBB and want to support my work and get free good karma for life.
Hey @ttorres , I noticed your website font changed recently and I find it super hard to read now (Google Chrome, Desktop, no change in zoom). Pic for reference. :/
Here's what to do after you've completed your career conversations with your direct reports. This concludes my 4-part series on the topic! ๐ #leadership https://t.co/8vEd3VO9eO
I feel it might be because of general change aversion and because measuring outcomes is quite a lot harder than outputs and impact. If you've focused on releases and features for years/decades, why change? Every business must measure revenue to pay their employees and bills. 2/2
@jeffpatton in response to your "underpants gnomes" article - I have some thoughts to share! I've preached about the difference vs outputs and outcomes for a long time. People act like they agree and understand, but nothing really changes after that. Why? 1/2
Riding the Vienna subway and someone dropped 5 bucks while exiting. Person behind picked it up and chased to deliver it. A bit later someone noticed 10 bucks (same person?) on the floor and gave it to me even though I said it's not mine and walked off. What a weird experience...
Here's the second part of my series on holding effective career conversations with your team. This time, you will learn about their dreams and support them in figuring out what skills are needed to live them successfully! https://t.co/oYY6hIlB2c
Ever wondered how to hold meaningful conversations with your direct reports about their career? I'm writing a series on this! Learned about this in the Radical Candor book, but had some learnings along the way. https://t.co/fi4K6v0YPn #Career#leadership

@orenellenbogen you were asking for breathing techniques in your latest SWLW and I just listened to a podcast that taught a super simple one: https://t.co/LM5FYdd5xs - basically breathe in - hold for 5 sec - breathe out. There's more details in the cast too!
Googling "best newsletter for managers" almost exclusively returns results for product managers. Are people that anti management that the word leader replaced it even though the meaning is very different? Is it because results are personalized for me? What gives? ๐ค
Hey @tapairportugal ! Our flight was canceled in September and I filed a complaint over a month ago, with no response. What's the situation? Reference: 2022-0002911902
