The Flatwoods Fire and Nature Festival is being hosted every other year in order to learn more about wildfires. The next one would be held in 2021. Anyone who is fascinated by this topic should attend the festival.

The speakers, Bond and Prusak, are displaying before and after photos of a county that experienced a fire and the difference is really mind blowing and impactful. The county went from light and painted homes to a dark and gloomy environment.

Bond and Prusak engage with the audience throughout this discussion by displaying questions about wildfires on the screen and the audience responding through their cellphones.

“Wildfires are common to every single continent, except maybe Antarctica,” said Zachary Prusak (.@FireAntMan) regarding where wildfires occur. It is interesting to see how common wildfires are across the world.
