Aitor Zabaleta tifo displayed by Real Sociedad supporters at the Atlético Madrid match.
Zabaleta was an antifascist Sociedad supporter and was stabbed to death by Atlético Madrid’s neo nazi ultra. The murder was committed in 1998, but it still keeps its place in memories. Because Madrid far right supporters sang chants celebrating Zabaleta’s death throughout the day before today’s match and insulted him. That is why this was not just a visual show, but a message given from past to future: “We are always antifascist.”
This seems like a serious air traffic control error. I don’t know how common it is, but I’ve never experienced anything like it and I fly a lot. Really unpleasant experience. Thankfully the pilot reacted in the correct way. What if it had been at night and he couldn’t see?
Today I was on a Ryanair flight from London to Madrid, just as we were landing at Barajas the pilot had to abort the landing. There was still another aircraft on the runway just as we were touching ground. The plane had to climb sharply again. Pretty fuking scary
Taylor Swift has donated enough money to cover the food bills for an entire year across 11 food banks and 8 community pantries in Liverpool.
She has done this for every city she's toured in the UK meaning she’s done more than the govt has in 14 years to eradicate food poverty.
@Joey7Barton The delicate balance of men's football commentary as fragile as your comfort zone discussing knitting. Bc clearly only men have the intricate knowledge required to grasp the complexities of football, right? I mean, heaven forbid we mix sports and I don't know, basic equality.
