Stay awake, @RealCandaceO!! Once again, sorry I’m just catching up. Literally not even seeing your posts…

The interview I’m referencing in this clip is not Ben on our show (something Charlie requested I book), it was CK going on with Mark Halperin (sorry @MarkHalperin if you catch some strays here my man). Charlie loved doing interviews with Mark, both on our show and on his, but we booked CK on Mark’s show a ways out. Then we realized as we got closer that it was the day before the tour started. He did the interview to honor the commitment, but he would have preferred to go media dark and focus on prepping for the tour. This is why CK made me host the show on 9/10. He wanted to take the morning to focus. Each stop took a tremendous amount of energy and focus, so he told me that I would have to guest host the show on 9/10 so he could prepare.
