Remember how everyone rushed to use his photo, of his walking toward an IDF tank to advocate for the lives of his patients? Rushed to plaster it everywhere, rushed to make AI edits, art, whatever. That was in December 2024.
How often is he mentioned today? He is alive, he is being tortured and slowly killed - he, alongside every Palestinian hostage, must be freed.
These beautiful faces, these beautiful hands are doing unpleasant work on a daily basis to keep Palestinians in Gaza safe from bacteria and disease. Please donate to support them.
This doesn't happen in isolation obviously. By backing Israel's genocide Europe signalled it was open season on Palestinians and all those who support them hence events like this and the mass arrests and police violence against protestors we've seen across the continent
The reason why Palestine isn’t being seen anymore is because that there’s barely any journalists left. 1.2 million people have been displaced in Lebanon. 33 million people are in need of aid in Sudan. Congo is still going through an Ebola outbreak. Don’t stop talking.

“My groom is a martyr…”
This is how Duaa Mansour announced the death of her fiancé, Moustafa Qassab.
“My groom became a martyr before we could celebrate our wedding…”
This was written by Duaa for Moustafa, killed overnight in one of Israel’s blitzes on Tyre, alongside his father Kamal Qassab & his sister Sireen.
Hours earlier, these were just ordinary photos of a young couple preparing for marriage, smiling, embracing & planning a future together.
By morning, Duaa was writing a farewell instead of preparing for a wedding.
“Not every bride wears white… some brides wear the pain of a homeland.”
“And my dowry was you, my moon-like martyr…
“They brought us heaven, my beautiful groom,
and scattered roses upon us, my heart…
But it was not how we dreamed it would be.”
Another family erased. Another wedding turned into mourning. Another future buried beneath rubble & fire in South Lebanon.
