Americans Have Filed a Major Lawsuit Against Trump.

President Donald Trump's administration is facing new legal pressure over its tariffs on imported goods.

Last month, the Trump administration imposed new tariffs of 10% and 12.5% on imports from 59 countries and the European Union.

A coalition of 25 U.S. states has filed a lawsuit in federal court, arguing that the new tariffs were imposed in violation of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling, according to the Associated Press.

This is the third lawsuit challenging the administration's new tariff policy.

Earlier, similar lawsuits were filed by small American businesses, which also argue that the government failed to provide sufficient justification for imposing tariffs on each individual country.

"After losing in the Supreme Court, the administration is once again trying to illegally raise taxes on families and businesses through another round of tariffs," said New York Attorney General Letitia James.

JUST IN: Trump is considering firing Jeanine Pirro after she dropped charges against a man falsely accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, two sources told CNN.

Trump is “furious” with Pirro, one source said, telling CNN that he fumed about her all weekend.

Based on his criticism of her, the source added, it’s “highly likely she’s removed from her job.”
