@PashaBorsai@gringoruivo@buildwithmaya Day 69 and now on camera too. How close is HoneyTraffic to the $5k? Also, while I just started posting pictures of myself yesterday I can tell you this video is inspiration to step it up. Keep grinding!
@tarush_agarwal_ Failing twice before the one that worked is the part people skip when they tell YC stories. Running 4 ideas at once is wild. How did you decide which ones to kill? I've killed too many and finally have decided to just see one through no matter what.
@romankhrupa@polodarb Love that most features stay free. Paywalling the extras instead of the basics is how you keep people around. How did you decide what goes behind it? My game night project mainly puts skins behind a paywall.
@sinasamaki Small delights like that are what make people stick with a paid app. The receipt animating in is such a nice touch that I've never seen before. How'd you get that motion?
@i_am_bosstaj "Quick refactor before bed" is how I end up awake at 1am too. Was it worth it in the end, or did you revert it? I'm exhausted every day because of this.
@arvidkahl Caught myself doing the same thing. I keep a list of phrases I won't use in my own posts now, and "it's not X, it's Y" is right at the top. What's funny though is the hero on my main project has one because I feel it is the best way to describe it.
@levelsio@btcede Easier to build, not easier to keep going. I vibe-coded a pile of projects and registered none of them, because nothing got traction past week two. Building got cheap. Sticking around didn't. I'm now committed to seeing a project through,
@rexstjohn What a great reason to build. This looks really nice too. If you keep shipping on Lineage, I'd love to see it on https://t.co/Vwr2nVJbe4, where open source projects rank by steady shipping. It's 100% free for opensource projects. What did AI get most wrong?
@yigittbuilds Smallest thing that still feels useful is the right bar. Ugly gets you feedback, useful gets you people who come back. What's the smallest version of what you're building?
@thejohncinar@X 15 to 500 while still at $0 MRR is proof that building in public works. Polishing turning into redesigning half the app is too real. When does the GLP-1 app go live? Also, I feel you. I'm up until 1:00am most nights lately. Love it!
@nerdyx90 Love that! The hard part comes after launch weekend, keeping them alive. That's why I built https://t.co/Vwr2nVJbe4: it ranks open source projects by how steadily they ship, and public repos are free. What are you publishing? Would love to feature you.
@chukwuchine12 Day 1 of 30 is a great way to job hunt. A streak of real work speaks volumes. If your projects are public on GitHub, https://t.co/Vwr2nVJbe4 turns that shipping into a page you can put on your CV, free. I started building it for this reason. Which app are you starting with?
@FelisArtificus@AndyMasley Picking up and dropping a side project is so familiar. Getting two thirds of the way in an hour is the push to finally finish it. What's the project?
@themicahstanley@DannPetty By the way, I love your bio! I've been held down by grunt work for so long and cool to see you start your own business. Inspires me.
@themicahstanley@DannPetty Needed this today. Two kids, Tae Kwon Do practice tonight, and the side project waits until they're asleep. It's still there in the morning.
@sagarmoy22 That's my biggest issue too. The agent knows the file, not the history of why it's that way. It takes everything so literal and doesn't see the big picture. Do you keep a notes file for it?
