@ShawnDevDedalus I used to use a timer on my phone called bit timer.
Didn’t use it for years and when I tried to use it again it was asking for a subscription so I made a website that does the same thing and learned a few things along the way.
@mrdoob@iced_coffee_dev This is pretty cool but it looks like parsing is often slower. This is fine for one off imports but if you are loading a large amount of assets wasm probably wins.
I would like to see a benchmark that tests performance at scale.
@DanielW_Kiwi These AI companies are still taking in billions of investment dollars we have yet to see the true cost of AI.
I think we are a long ways out from seeing cost of living benefits, if there are any to actually be had.
@joshmanders I get where he’s coming from but for a lot of projects that amount of effort is overkill.
It makes sense for a company with a dedicated team and a product that other businesses rely on.
A solo dev less so. I try to have as few dependencies as possible though.
@loftwah I’m diving deep into system design. Even if I have AI write all my code I own the architecture and it’s important to me to fully understand what’s being built and the direction to take it.
