STARGATE ✨ this franchise will be saved. I think Amazon really wasn’t expecting this level of backlash.

To see the point driven home that this fanbase is exceptionally diverse and cross generational is amazing to see.

Always knew this show was a special once. Even after all these years.

@AmazonMGMStudio let’s do the right thing. Reinstate @martingero show. Let @bradtravelers and @BaronDestructo do their magic.

You have a golden opportunity to do the right thing and a socially active fanbase who will be in your comments signing your praises rather than protesting you.

Don’t let it slip past you. These opportunities don’t come around often.

Dew it.

A lot of folks have asked why I jumped into the #SaveStargate campaign.

Truth is, this was never about how many episodes I appeared in.

It was about supporting friends, standing behind a cast and crew I respect and recognizing one of the most passionate fan communities out there. The Stargate universe has meant a great deal to a lot of people for a very long time.

When people care that deeply about something and work that hard to keep it alive, I’m happy to lend my voice.

Some things are worth getting loud about.

Está escena tiene 20 años y es prueba de lo bien que stargate hacía las cosas cuando había confianza #savestargate

Amazon hasn't even bothered to issue a statement which is highly insulting.

Stargate fans aren't going anywhere until they at least give us the courtesy of disparaging us to our face.

And then we'll keep pressuring them anyways because #SaveStargate

Throughout my career, I've been dismayed by the contempt some genre executives have held for fans, routinely underestimating their power to make or break a show. I've watched this repeat too many times, across too many shows, to be talking about any single one of them. Yet despite the mounting evidence over the past few years, they continue to dismiss the data, repeating the same miscalculations time and again.

But technology has rewritten the rules, and the power dynamics are shifting. Today’s fans are organized, strategic, and highly data-literate - effectively turning the platforms' own metrics against them.

As the bets get bigger and the audience grows sharper, it will be fascinating to see how this plays out.

it's been 7 days after the article from @variety confirming @AmazonMGMStudio is going back on their word and cancelling new Stargate.

The majority of my X feed is still Stargate fans calling them out for betraying the creatives and the fans.

please keep it up! 🫡🫡🫡🫡 I LOVE YOU ALL.
