Yesterday, I posted that there were ZERO Bible verses that affirm being “slain in the Spirit”.
Many people responded that John 18, where Jesus is betrayed by Judas and arrested by the mob as affirmation… Because, it says “they fell back at His word”.
That is nothing short of a WILD take. You can’t just make the Bible say whatever you want.
If you take the Bible for what it says (and, not what you want it to say), then you would have to say that only those that betray and oppose Jesus are the ones that “fall on their backs”.
Again, the New Testament never instructs believers to seek being “slain in the Spirit,” instead it says be filled with the Spirit and be lead by the Spirit.
🚨 BREAKING: The Senate is holding an anti-taxpayer fraud meeting right now with Nick Shirley and James O'Keefe...
...and stunning new footage shows EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT SEAT is *empty*
100% of Democrats on the committee were invited, 0% SHOWED UP.
The Party of Fraud. They know about the fraud and are complicit!
FOX: "We have a shot of the empty seats, all the way to the right. Empty seats where DEMOCRATS would be sitting. Dems don't care about defrauding the American people?!" 🤯

What you're about to see in this clip of @StevenBartlett and @ProfJohnLennox is the reality that there are actually 5 Gospels, not 4.
It's Matthew, Mark, Luke, John... and YOU.
This July 4, let’s continue to pray for America 🇺🇸🙏 May we be one nation under God, seeking His wisdom, grace, and hope!
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12
There’s glory in discovery:
“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to investigate a matter.”
Proverbs 25:2 CSB

America turns 250 this week 🇺🇸 What a reminder that our greatest hope has never been in a flag, a headline, or a politician. Our hope has always been in God.
So this week, let’s do what we’ve always been called to do: pray.
Pray for our families.
Pray for our neighbors.
Pray for our leaders.
“If My people, who are called by My name, humble themselves, and pray… then I will hear from heaven.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14
#DontStopPraying 🙏
With some people (and pastors) objecting, I want to explain really quick why this week's LIVE FREE episode (and social media) is unashamedly about the United States.
I love my King of Kings more infinitely than any earthly ruler.
And there is an Eternal Kingdom that has infinitely more allegiance from me than any earthly country.
But...
In the Bible, God established 3 institutions for the good of the world:
– The Family
– The church
– The State (governments)
This means that a Christian man should seek to be...
- A family man
- A churchman
- A statesman
This week, we'll celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and part of being a "statesman" is loving your country.
- A family never gets better unless the father LOVES his family.
- A church never gets better unless people LOVE their church
- A nation cannot get better unless people LOVE their nation
So, I do unapologetically love my country, thank God for the historically unique way Christianity played a role in the founding of our nation, and I'll have a BLAST this week unapologetically and enthusiastically celebrating it and working for its future good... not IN SPITE of the fact that I'm a Christian, but BECAUSE I'm a Christian, who is grateful to God for what He has done in the past and imploring Him to pour out his Spirit in our culture for the good of its future... and then I'm going to walk in this weekend and preach verse by verse through Exodus 3 and make Jesus real famous.
"But seek the welfare of the [nation] where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare."
– Jeremiah 29:7
This is the part of American history we no longer teach in our schools. George Washington's FIRST order as commander of the military is going to blow your mind 👇
There is a difference between what the Bible DESCRIBES and what it PRESCRIBES.
Yes, the Bible describes sinners doing sinful things. That's the whole point: We're not good people who just need encouragement to fulfill our potential; We're bad people who need a Savior.
In fact, the Bible DESCRIBES sinners doing sinful things, SO THAT it can PRESCRIBE giving your life to a Savior who leads you in a new and better way.
There's only 1 guy in the whole Bible who leads a good life: Jesus.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6…….🙏🏼
“Therefore the Lord God said: “Look, I have laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will be unshakable. ,”
Is 28:16 CSB
“This Jesus is the stone rejected by you builders, which has become the cornerstone. ,”
Acts 4:11
“Let whoever is wise understand these things, and whoever is insightful recognize them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.”
Hosea 14:9 CSB
