I live in Port Harcourt. We couldn’t just be watching.
So I built PH Lifestyle 🌴

500 people are on PH Lifestyle right now

a few days ago I was just trying to build something fun around Port Harcourt and now the site is at

- 20,688 visitors
- 36,569 pageviews
- 6m 20s average engaged time

the part I like most is that it’s not only coming from X anymore people are coming in direct, through social, and from Google too, there’s still a lot to fix. still some lag, still some bugs, still features I want to clean up.

but having 500 people inside the game at the same time while I’m still actively building it is wild.

really grateful for everyone playing, sending feedback and breaking things for me 😂

I’ve been reading all the feedback, fixing the annoying stuff, and rebuilding the parts of PH Lifestyle that just didn’t feel good enough

so yeah… the whole city got a refresh the game feels completely different now. cleaner, smoother, easier to use, and more importantly, I added a lot more things to actually do in PH.

this update is less about adding random features and more about making the whole experience feel better

still fixing things as people play, but this version feels much closer to what I had in mind

The funniest part about being called a COPYCAT is watching 13,000 people still show up

PH Lifestyle is now at 23,500 pageviews, over 6 minutes average engagement, and we’ve already gotten paying users and somehow the conversation is still , but somebody built something for Lagos first

she built something around Lagos. I built something around Port Harcourt, where I live

there’s room for both

almost every successful market has competitors. AI tools, social apps, fintech, games, and nobody owns an entire category because they were first

what matters is what you do with the idea

while people have been arguing, I’ve been getting feature requests, fixing multiplayer issues, reducing lag, removing things users don’t like and building things they actually asked for

some requests are making it in. some definitely aren’t and i have another batch of features I’m trying to ship in the next few hours

you can spend your time debating who was first but I’d rather spend mine making the better product
