Yeah, okay, but what does that actually mean? "Operational issues" could mean anything, and doesn't give people an indication on how long it will be a issue for. As usual, communication needs to be better from @AklTransport
Surely the current mayor cannot run on a platform of fixing the city he's already in charge of? Though potentially registering the domain so no one else can use it?

"As a result, weโve decided to remove this [off-peak] discount in favour of other fare changes."
Note that @AklTransport said "changes", not discounts. They've removed a discount and replaced it with fare increases. Well, unless you're someone spending 2 hours on a bus each way.
If I drive to work, it costs about $80 per week for myself and my partner. Even before the fare increases, it's $6 each way on PT, so five days a week would cap at $100 with the 7-day cap. Why would I pay more to be on a train, when I can be in the comfort of a private vehicle?
Well, this might as well have been written by the @actparty, so they pretend all the submissions against a divisive Bill are actually fake. Maybe it's just people don't like the Bill, so they're submitting on it?

The more I think about that game, the more I think that:
a) The ref was terrible, but
b) AFC would have almost certainly lost even if it was called well.
Didnt get the rub of the green and in a close game, that will make the difference. 4-0 was harsh but a loss is a loss.
If @fc_auckland had fair calls their way, probably would have scored one. Probably should be 2-1 to WUN rather than 3-0. AFC really haven't had the luck go their way today, and football always needs a bit of luck, but refereeing has been shocking.
This really is a joke from @aleaguemen. Yes, the penalty was the right call by the letter of the law (not that it should be), but plenty of other calls that have gone the wrong way, and definitely seems to be one sided. And getting in the way of play is disgraceful.
Absolute insanity - @AklTransport telling people to use public transport for Black Friday/Christmas shopping. Yet, they're also changing the train maintenance schedule so all trains are cancelled this weekend - when people will probably be wanting to do what AT has said.
Two weeks ago, that schedule was saying it was only between Britomart and Newmarket - not great, but better than everything cancelled. Rail replacement buses with bags of shopping? That might work, but not well.
"Let's fine Google more money than there is in the entire world!"
It's almost like Russia has decide to lean into being a joke.

Could be a bloody big game for @fc_auckland. Sydney FC coming into this after a lot of travel. Sydney are a massive challenge at the best of times, so having them now could be a boost for AFC's season. A W for either team puts them top of the @aleaguemen too. #aleague
