Today I finished reading the latest book by @JenShahade (Thinking Sideways). It was good! Filled with amusing and personal anecdotes, this was a thought-provoking read on the topic of approaching problems in chess, poker, and life from every possible angle. ♟️👑👩🦰
Oh goodie, 🤦🏻♀️another inquiry from someone who wants me to promote their AI-generated book.
The script even has a fake quote from me, misattributing an idea to me from someone else. 😵💫
Buy books from real people please. 🙏🏻

I signed 300 copies of my book in Baltimore, mostly to young readers. I told them Thinking Sideways would be of more interest to their coaches and parents but many disagreed, insisting they LOVE advanced books.
Then a 7-year-old asked me a question about AI from chapter 4. 🤯
Last night: Jeopardy! watch party combined with Thinking Sideways Philly launch. 📙👀
Then I hosted a Q&A with @GregShahade and Memory Grandmaster @yanjaaw 🧠

I am pleasantly surprised by @JenShahade 's book!
No, really. I didn't expect it to be THAT good.

Smart, scientific, no pretentious BS, no AI fluff.
And...deeply philosophical. Exactly my style 😁
