In my opinion, Laravel is heading in the wrong direction for educational purposes. Each time the creators add more dependencies and technologies that aren't necessary for creating simple projects.

otherwise, they will feel like they are learning three or four frameworks in parallel just to create simple things. More experienced developers also can choose to include them from the start. 8/9
