Having a teacher that knows the subject well, can work with me at my pace, and tailor the response to my exact needs feels amazing. I wonder what I’ll learn tomorrow?
Using Grok to get a refresher on math and it’s amazing. I’m rusty on Calculus and have a couple of books around but I was never able to make much progress. Tonight I had my “tutor” walk me through the basics of derivation then Leibniz vs. Lagrange notation.
@RabbiPoupko@TaliGoldsheft@CityofPeabodyMA This is horrible to hear about. I grew up in Peabody and became a Bar Mitzvah there. Never experienced much antisemitism, it’s a shame to hear that Jews are now being harassed for being publicly Jewish in Peabody.
@psomkar1 It’s just different, both are really useful. I graduated from a highly theoretical CS program with 11 months of experience through paid internships. Both have been extremely valuable. I never would have learned LISP on the job but now I’ve been working with it for over a decade.
