@Andyc1178 Spot on mate. He’s seeing him on the training pitch, if he doesn’t fancy him, fair enough, but he’s got to articulate himself better, basically saying he’s not good enough in an interview is horrific man management. What message does that give to the academy lads? Very poor
@JamesPearceLFC The man’s being setting us up to not lose for the last few weeks, scraping wins against 9 man spurs and a terrible wolves side at home took some pressure off. Nothing has changed, no identity, no system. Wanted Slot to figure this out but he’s at the damage limitation phase.
Some numbers.
Goals: 44, 27, 23, 31, 31, 30, 25, 34, 5
Assists: 14, 10, 13, 6, 15, 16, 13, 23, 3
Combined total?
363 goal involvements in 8 years.
Don’t for a second think it was wrong to give him a new deal in April.
This is evidence of an internal fracture becoming a canyon
@Andyc1178 You weren’t bloody wrong mate, absolute shambles. Where we go from here I don’t know, so much needs changing, Slot looks like he hasn’t got a clue right now
@TheRedmenTV Issues have been present all season, what have we tried to change? Slot doesn’t have any solutions at all. Defensively so open, lacking physicality, slow build up play and rarely clinical in the final third. Personnel, counter press, shape, formation it all needs answering.
@LeeG16170@daRealAkinfenwa I agree on the defence mate but the Liverpool we’ve become used to watching creates hatfuls of big chances. Recently we’re not creating as much but that’s highlighted through not being clinical enough and a lack of intensity. Look at tonight, their keeper had a lovely night
@GraemeKelly1 It’s not the result it’s the performances, last minute winners have painted over cracks, whether it’s the personnel, system or something else slot has to find a way to fix this and quick. We look all out of ideas and absolutely sapped of any energy, it’s not an overreaction…
