@VillaViews_@KBK_DJ Itโs not just getting in before the lock, it is also the fact that by getting in, they also massively inflated transfer fees, wages and agents fees which impacts everyone
@pearsontombo@kevinhatchard@covenhoven86@danbardell Look at how much revenue has increased, they are generating as much as they can and as for savings, fans demand a winning team. Matchday revenue will be reduced this season due to the reduced capacity at Villa Park
@kevinhatchard@pearsontombo@covenhoven86@danbardell Which is fine, but on the commercial side, they have increased revenue massively and are producing a successful team, so they are right about most things. I like Danโs content, but find it ironic to talk greed whilst pushing the founders brand that is making money from Villa fans
@kevinhatchard@pearsontombo@covenhoven86@danbardell But the small increase in revenue could be the difference in being compliant with psr/scr or not. The owners have put massive amounts into the club, which operates at a loss. They are investing the maximum they are allowed, so to say they are exploiting is wrong
@2707KRO@MoMoAVFC@ClintM83@SinceSmallHeath@SinceVilla@AVFCOfficial@BCFC Champions League
Premier League
FA Cup
Europa League
League Cup
Conference League
Is the correct order. They are all major trophies.
The fact that most of the top premier teams play their second string all the way to the final in the League Cup puts it near the bottom.
@avfcbreaking Emery likes to have a left footer there, so if Pau doesnโt play, mings is the first choice. Personally think that getting Clement Lenglet back as cover for Pau would suit us better in how we play.
@DerekAdamson@TotalVilla_ Without Kamara he has to sit more. He is most effective with a Box to Box role and we wont see the best of him until he has the freedom to get further forward
@Os1434391159@94lfc94@AVFCJono Itโs easy to take that view from Liverpools protected position. PSR issue is wages, but wages are the highest correlator of performance and we are actually out performing wages. We have to increase revenue, but when we outperform the โbig 6โ they get more prize money any way.
@Mcfarland727@avfcbreaking Mings should have been covering Digne and should have been quicker to close down. A CB has to be able to react to his full back getting beaten 1-1
@adamsonjon@sturae229 I think he needs to re-discover his bravery with and without the ball. First time finished, taking people on more often and not pulling out of tackles. Heโs shown glimpses so far and this was probably his best game, so fingers crossed
@JordThomo@TheEvertonian78 Heโs offside and challenging for the ball. The reason The villa player behind isnโt getting the ball is because OโBrien pushes him in the back with 2 hands, so should have been ruled out for that even if Armstrong wasnโt offside.
@mbappe_spurs@Hahahdehwu Itโs dumb that you cant grasp that if you have a good manager there is a direct correlation between wages and performance. So by limiting the wages we are allowed to spend, the rules are designed to stop is competing.
@moses_adey6817@JackC_AV@xGPhilosophy xG is flawed. It only considers the final action, so a (non deflected) own goal is 0xG, but the ball in from McGinn was excellent and xG completely ignores it. For the winner Rogers was given so much time and space. To say that itโs a 1 in 50 chances of scoring is also wrong imo.
@benhayes17@Matt_Law_DT Itโs taken a lot of time and a lot of money, astronomical amounts of money. The sort of money that you are no longer allowed to spend because of FFP. Therefore it is nearly impossible to replicate. The rules maintain the current status quo and are anti-competitive
