@RealityMUFC Finaclally and historically Utd are a bigger club but now that is all history

[Aston Villa Updates @avfcbreaking]

Can't help but feel for Carrick, looks like a decent bloke who's been let down by a bunch of players who ain't good enough for Manchester United,Bruno included!
I watched today out of curiosity to see if Emery going there could be a possibility and on the basis of today I believe:
🛑Utd would now give him whatever he asked for in terms of control and budget.
🛑 But watching that it's clear Utd so are broken now and their players are not just playing badly but are toxic, and no manager would want to go into that environment from a job where they are achieving so much,at this point Utd would be a step down for Emery with so much risk and very little chance of reward.
So I think Emery would snub them despite UTD being willing to rip up their entire structure out of desperation.
UTD are broken and only a manager at a lower club would now consider that poisoned chalice.

@ZakesPrez Right now the Villa job is more appealing than the UTD job.

[Aston Villa Updates @avfcbreaking]

@GK88520 @MattB3032 But Utd are not a Barca or elite club anymore..
They are a historic club down on its luck needing magic...
A little like Villa were when he walked in the door

UK food prices have risen by almost 40% since 2021.

A family spending £150 a week on groceries five years ago now needs around £210 to buy the same food.

That's an extra £3,000 a year just to put the same meals on the table.

Inflation might be slowing, but prices haven't come down. Families are still paying the price but that 21 quid will really help 🤣

Unai Emery and Man United... 😴 #avfc

🗣️ "If he had a new contract every time he was just linked with Man United, he'd have one every five minutes..."

@easyJet @Starlink Just a shame your flights are not reliable

[Aston Villa Updates @avfcbreaking]

Your right, a Conte would for ego.
A Howe for a step up..
Hard to see top managers in jobs where they are currently achieving something would.
Don't get me wrong as a Villa fan I'm delighted you've slipped away but as a fan of football it's tragic to see a club once such a powerful club and one that was famous around the world for it's standards and family values being run into the ground so badly.
Almost as if a restart of wholesale nature is needed and getting some of those legends on the board to shape them.

[Aston Villa Updates @avfcbreaking]

Would be a HUGE STATEMENT from the owners and Emery!
But in both we trust

@J_Tanswell said he will let us know news on Emery if any comes in. Is it possible that we’ve offered him a new contract? 👀 #avfc

[Aston Villa Updates @avfcbreaking]

@CryptoaaService Well considering it's the Villa manager I am discussing...
You know 😉

[Aston Villa Updates @avfcbreaking]

@TheEyeTest_1 The most obvious question...
Why would we want to improve you?
You can suffer through your neglect

@TheVillaHome Digne would have been starting due to injuries over 2 LBs
