To. FLOWD:

Hello! This is Kang Daniel. It seems the weather hasn't warmed up yet.
As of today, February 9th, I am enlisting for active duty at the Nonsan Training Center! I was always looking for the right timing, but honestly, I never imagined my enlistment would be delayed this long, haha.
Still, on one hand, I feel relieved, and it is an honor to be able to fulfill my national defense duties in good health.
Although I must sadly bid farewell to society for a short while, I will continue to polish myself and grow stronger!
During the past two years of activities and music production, I think I’ve reflected a lot on the path I’ve walked and the path I will walk in the future.
Actually, I feel that my fans have experienced many stories about me as a person, "Kang Daniel" rather than just stories as a singer.
For that, I feel sorry on one hand, and on the other, I am sincerely grateful to you for always staying by my side and for allowing me to become ambitious about the results of my music career.
I am grateful that I can create the music I want to express based on my various experiences (haha) that are quite different from others.
Among the many people who support me and give me strength, knowing there are people gathered under the name FLOWD gives me an incomparable sense of stability.
We have spent so much time together in the relationship of fans and singer. We’ve enjoyed thrilling and exciting stages together that were once unimaginable, and I’ve shared songs containing my emotions, memories, and records, things I personally thought I couldn't do. It was so joyful and happy!!
I express my gratitude often, but I sincerely wanted to tell you once more through this letter, hahaha. People say a year and a half is a long time, but when I calculated my discharge date, it’s already next year ..?
It seems a bit tight for me to achieve the results I want for myself, haha! During this period, I hope FLOWD can also focus on self development or take a good rest so that we can start my new "Chapter 2" together.
I will also be cheering for everything you do while serving diligently.
Except for ball sports, I’m good at everything, so I think the military will suit me quite well, haha!
