Prophet Mbonye is a serious example of “mind your business” be consistent, and in due time your critics will fall silent.

Years ago, when Zoe Fellowship started the Honouring the Man of God event, the internet was awash with scriptures and backlash about everything wrong with the idea. He never responded. He never defended himself. He simply continued, year after year. Eventually the critics went quiet. And in time, the event became normal and indirectly accepted.

That’s how the world works. When you have many critics, shut your ears and open your eyes wide to focus on your thing. Soon they’ll run out of energy and start watching instead. Though it doesn’t always mean what they were criticising was absolutely wrong 😊.

So yesterday, I feel sad that I didn’t see any scriptures from the theological council of twitter giving guidance in response to the event.
