A dear friend texted me yesterday with this @DynamicCatholic picture & said “So proud of you for having the courage! I think you are exactly where you are suppose to be!”
If someone crosses your mind, let them know. That’s the Holy Spirit speaking through you.
Don’t believe in Heaven? I bet you’ve already had a glimpse of it...think of the most joyful moment in your life, savor it for a while....now imagine that Joy lasting FOREVER!!! That’s a tiny glimpse of Heaven. Jesus Christ offers us everlasting Joy, will you accept His call?
On this All Souls Saturday let us turn to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary & ask her Intercession for our troubled world. This day reminds us that life is fleeting...when we all join the departed souls may Mary & the saints pray for us as we pray for souls today.
I encourage all the faithful to pray the Memorare along with their rosary on this Saturday. Serious evil has infected our world & we desperately need the intercession of Our Blessed Mother. May shepherds of the flock regain their voice & speak Christ’s truth boldly.
It is amazing to have walked the same streets as St. Teresa while we pilgrimaged on the Camino de Santiago for our honeymoon. #StTeresaofAvila saw the Church through some difficult times and achieved sanctification. We must pray fervently and not grow weary! #CatholicTwitter
As this Synod unfolds remember that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life, He is the Divine Son of God & Lord of the universe. Only God Father, Son & Holy Spirit can be worshiped, everything else is a creature held in existence by God.
Please, please, please ... can we just stop glorifying busy.
We are all busy..
We all have stuff to do..
We all work hard..
Can we just support each other and stop making it a contest?
Thank you.
Find something to be thankful for in everyone you meet today. You have no idea what they have gone through to be there. You have no idea what they have given up. You do not know what sacrifice they are in the midst of. Be kind and gentle and thank them.
St Francis of Assisi rebuilt the Church through great devotion to Jesus Christ as the Lord of Creation. His love for all of nature flowed from this same devotion to Jesus Christ. He bore the stigmata (the wounds of Christ crucified) as a sign of his intimate life with the Lord.
I woke up at 4 am so I went to pray to my little chapel. I saw the gardener there praying. He was there for 5 minutes. When he left he looked at me and said, “life is holier when we spend time with Him even if it is 5 minutes. Off I go to work.”
Make your work holy.
In the old calendar of the #Catholic church, today is the #feastday of St. Therese! We can all learn something from living "The Little Way." Here is one mom's reflection on how to incorporate this approach into your home: https://t.co/nEcFyIlFiT @MaryHaseltine
“Don’t wait until you are old to start becoming a saint. Begin right now. Cheerfully and joyfully, by fulfilling the duties of your work and of your everyday life.”
St. Josemaria Escriva, Pray for us!!!! #feastday#pray#CatholicChurch#Catholic@opusdeius
GOOD MORNING LOVELY PEOPLE!
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” II Psalm 143:8
in January of 1999, Pope St. John Paul II received a St. Louis Blues jersey and hockey stick; I think it's reasonable for us to ask him to please pray for us! #stlblues@StLouisBlues#WeAllBleedBlue
Holy Spirit, breathe into our hearts and let us inhale the tenderness of the Father. Breathe upon the Church, so that she may spread the Gospel with joy. Breathe upon the world the fresh restoration of hope. #Pentecost
If you want to know how to be a better friend, look at Mary.
If you want to know how to be a better parent, look at Mary.
If you want to know how to be a better Christian, a better human being...
...look at Mary.
