The Israeli government demonizes Israeli peace activists and presents them as traitors, places restrictions on the activities of peace NGOs, and the Israeli Police brutalizes them at protests, yet to the outside world, the Israeli MFA praises their work.
@JeremyArnold31@WeDemocracyUK@hagar_shezaf@haaretzcom To influence you have to take a stance and not deny reality - but work towards how you wish it to be. I don’t remember Corbyn being embraced because “that’s life”
Dealing with reality as it is, is how you end up with Ben Gvir managing the police.
A lesson in leadership from @WeDemocracyUK.
When the far-right rises we must stand up to them and offer real alternatives - not polite compromise.
Reaching a middle ground with extremists won’t tame them, but normalise them & drag the rest of us in their direction.
Many thanks to @hagar_shezaf and @haaretzcom for highlighting our letter that opposed to Nigel Farage speaking at the rally.
Almost *2,500 people* signed the letter - proportionally, this is equivalent to around 630,000 people signing a UK-wide national campaign.
We understand that Nigel Farage did not speak at today’s rally. We welcome that decision and are proud to have contributed to it. However, the decision to invite Richard Tice is deeply disappointing.
The fight against antisemitism must be rooted in solidarity, moral consistency, and opposition to all forms of racism and hatred. It cannot be led by political figures associated with division, scapegoating, and inflammatory rhetoric. This principle applies not only to Nigel Farage but to anyone who promotes, excuses, or refuses to condemn racism and hate.
Antisemitism cannot be confronted selectively or cynically.
We are proud of our community for showing moral clarity and grateful to everyone who signed and shared the letter 🙏🏻

Follow for updates on the ongoing peace summit in Tel Aviv.
The reality often seems hopeless. But there are people looking the impossible in the eye - standing up to settler violence, promoting peace in Gaza, building political movements.
Inaction isn’t an option. ⬇️
🧵 Proud to be at the It’s Time People’s Peace Summit in Tel Aviv where thousands of Israelis & Palestinians are working for peace as a political reality.
Over 80 grassroots organisations, politicians, bereaved families and civilians - not just to talk but to demand change.

In the Palestinian village of Qusra, settlers beat up a Palestinian man as his family watches, his child screams and cries as they beat her father.
This is daily and spreading like wildfire. All the while annexation is happening.
These people will destroy us before Iran does.
1/Have spent the past 2 weeks in & out of bomb shelters. Everyone’s understandably distracted because the region is on fire.
While all eyes are on Iran, violent settlers are thriving. A 5 year old Palestinian girl was run over in Umm al Khair. The perpetrator hasn’t been caught.
It seems another Jewish festival has been marked by darkness. I’m so sorry for all those in Sydney, Australia, who were affected by yesterday‘s shooting and my thoughts are with those who are mourning today, instead of celebrating.
Chanukah is supposed to be a time to celebrate light in the darkness. I can’t think of a better way to mark Chanukah than by honouring the memory of Noya.
Noya’s mother Galit and I have been friends all of our lives. My son is 10 months younger than her. Though she will always remain 13.
Noya and her grandmother Carmela were murdered by Hamas on October 7th.
Our hope was that Noya had been kidnapped. An awful thing to hope for. Even worse when we received confirmation that she had been murderered.
Outside their family home stood a small sign which read “The way I am, just exactly, that’s the best there is.”
I think this summarises Noya and her mother so perfectly. I’m in awe of my wonderful friend Galit who continues to do such wonderful things in the face of such unthinkable loss.
If you can please donate and support her efforts to build the centre for the autistic experience in Noya’s memory.
I hope that we can all find some light in the darkness and that we’re able to celebrate freely & without fear.

Many lessons to be learned from the Beautiful 6 for those open to such learning. They really supported and strengthened each other.
Last weeks Uvda episode now has English subtitles.

We’re devastated by the attack at Bondi Beach and the murder of Jews celebrating Chanukah at a Chabad event in Australia.
Our thoughts are with the victims and the Australian Jewish community.
It should go without saying: Jews should be able to gather & celebrate without fear.
I’ve not been on social media as much recently. I’ve taken time to reflect on the past couple of years, and to think about what we do next.
I wanted to share that we have published “To the Edge of the Border” - my father Oded’s legacy. A collection of essays and articles which tell the story of the state of Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through my father’s eyes. A man of peace who dedicated his life to fighting for justice.
The book was published on 25/10/2025 - two years after my father’s death, we wanted to make sure his voice is still heard.
I’m so grateful to those who helped make this happen. Thank you to the editors who worked with me - Ruvik Rosenthal, Omer Einav, Nachum Barnea and Rakefet Zohar.
As written in @Haaretz - “He understood that punishment, revenge and deterrence wouldn’t bring quiet. He knew that he and his friends living on the border would be the first to pay the price. That’s what he wanted to prevent, why he fought for peace. His death is tragic not because he was wrong, but because he was right.”

I have much more to say, and I will share more about my father, the book and his legacy over the coming months. His voice has never been important and I hope it will help guide us to a path of peace.
For now, the book is only available in Hebrew.
