An enchanted set of ribbons tasked with keeping a powerful sword from falling into the wrong hands, Rue is wary of strangers but fights ferociously to protect those in her care. 🗡️🎀
God of War: Laufey director Ariel Lawrence responds to fan skepticism over the game and its female protagonist, instead of Kratos🚀
“I’m so thankful that we have people who care. And whether or not they care, they’re upset, or they think we should do something that’s different, I would rather they care.
So we’re arms open, ready to show them Faye’s journey and have them fall in love with her like we have.
I understand everybody’s reservations and hesitations and I know that it comes from a good place. They have been on that journey with Kratos as long as I have ... And it means something to them
We’re not leaving anybody behind. We’ve got plenty more Kratos coming.”
Ariel Lawrence has been working at Sony Santa Monica Studio for over 20 years, and took part in the development of many God of War games😎

Hopefully wherever Kratos goes next, they will also develop playable content for Freya. They made Atreus a playable character in Ragnarok, so I don't see why they couldn't do the same for Freya. I sincerely hope that the next story is Egypt. It would be interesting to see how Kratos, Freya and Mimir would react to such a new environment and new gods.
The internet raised a new generation of horror filmmakers. Kane Parsons and Curry Barker are two of the most exciting, and we’re proud Atomic Monster and Blumhouse get to be part of the story.
Blumhouse-Atomic Monster has the #1 and #2 movies in the country this weekend, both made for almost no money. Theaters are packed. What a time to be making scary movies.
Awesome for the industry! Amazing to see the success of these two young directors with brilliant original work. Shows audiences craving great original material. Congrats to both!
