@Extra_Onions Eh that’s BS, she’s appeared and done voiceover for nearly 500 different projects, and she does not always look the same, she was in Doom the Dark Ages last year and she played a white woman and that’s only one example.

The funny part about all this discourse is people not realizing Kratos isn't the only God of War. There are multiple. If Laufey is following the path I think she will then she's likely to also establish herself as a God of War in the process. So God of War Laufey is a perfect title.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 20 YEARS, THE GAME ISN’T ABOUT KRATOS.

it's about Faye - his dead wife. the woman whose funeral opened the entire Norse saga. and if your first thought is "who cares about her," that's the trick the last two games played on you.

everything you did, she had already prepared:
- she marked the trees and set the path that would reveal the full prophecy
- she sent Kratos and Atreus on the exact journey they needed to become who they had to be
- she stayed so hidden that the gods were still hunting her long after she was ashes
- and through all of it, she was never once playable. just a body on a pyre. a face in flashbacks.

Kratos didn't lead that saga. he followed it.

we played the man three steps behind his wife.
now we finally play the woman who was three steps ahead of everyone.

@Kratos5231 That was something I thought about earlier on, but it would seem only some gods to this unique afterlife while others don’t, I’m guessing Odin was supposed to go there, hence why there was no Valhalla for him.
