I worked from the Northampton probation office today. Feeling slightly unwell. Throughout the day colleagues unexpectedly stopped me to check if I was ok. One of them said I didn’t seem my bubbly smiley self. It reminded me what a lovely PDU I work in! Kindness is so powerful!

Work colleagues that turned into friends. 17 years of friendship! We have all moved in different directions in the organisation but we will always be the same four probation practitioners that worked on the same table in an open plan probation office….. Gosh we used to laugh.

First day back after leave and came into a flurry of emails and urgent issues. I worked amongst the Kettering team, where endless amounts of tea & coffee were provided. Working amongst colleagues always brightens my mood. First day back wasn’t all that bad !

Northampton probation office celebration for the coronation . Fantastic staff turn out ! I enjoy seeing colleagues & catching up outside of a meeting. Getting out and about is so important as a leader. I’m looking forward to the summer office picnic for the other offices. @hmpps
