Our volunteer, Dorine, continues to not only be a believer but a doer in ensuring children from underserved communities receive quality education. From the first day, she blended with our learners and went on to even lead a class. Thank you, Dorine, for the work you do with us.
When Cynthia joined our volunteers team, she had a passion for children and a heart willing to give back. 2yrs later she has been instrumental in lesson planning, and her impact has been seen in our learners' literacy journey. Teacher Cynthia, thank you for being a superstar! β¨

#Reading with children not only improves their vocabulary & comprehension but also allows their minds to wander into a world of endless & exciting experiences
@wwasome_org takes this magic to kids who otherwise lack it but need it
@princelySid Wait till you hear that a number of grade 9s don't have classes because the govt didn't plan for it and he has told them to alternate days of attending till that's sorted e.g. if you go to school on Monday, your next attendance is like Wednesday or sth for others to attend π

π Our learners have big dreams, but systemic injustice often stands in their way. The good news? We can change this narrative! Collective action in education is more than teaching kids to read; itβs about equipping them for lifelong success.
π Every child deserves a chance to thrive, yet many face systemic barriers that fuel illiteracy. To build a sustainable future, we must invest in foundational literacy for ALL children.
π This is how we empower the next generation to succeed and shape a better world.
We are really excited about the growth @wwasome_org is experiencing through learning from and working together with other organizations that are in the foundational literacy space in Kenya to ensure every Kenyan child is able to read by the time they are completing primary school
πWe had the pleasure of hosting the amazing @EsomaSolutions team during our Literacy Sunday this past weekend! They dove right into the action, engaging our learners with interactive literacy lessons that sparked curiosity and a love for learning.

π§ π In early years kids' brains absorb information like sponges! It's the ideal time to spark a love for learning, fuel curiosity, and build confidence. But new concepts can be tough, leading to frustration. Thatβs why our programs use creative tools to help learners thrive.
