Recent comments on a sharptail grouse recipe. Most people don’t know what this bird is, much less realize that indigenous species played a vital role in the history of North American cuisine. If it isn’t mass produced chicken, then it must be disgusting and unsafe to eat 🙄
@KevinEspiritu Wishing you well, I don’t know anything about atrial fillibration, but cutting out caffeine was one of the best things I did for health! Also, I see you got my book, hope you enjoy it! Make sweet corn ice cream with that corn!
After over three years of working on this special project, I can FINALLY reveal it to the world. I wrote a cookbook and it’s available for preorder now!!!

I don’t wanna get into the drama of why, but yesterday I had to dispatch my chickens. I hunt a lot so this is nothing new, but having to take the life of an animal you cared for is difficult in different ways. Ultimately, I’m grateful for the meals they will provide

Never stop learning, and never stop experimenting. This can be one of life’s greatest joys if you embrace the opportunity to grow. This experimental smoked bone broth using wild goose turned out great - could use a little tweaking though. #bonebroth#wildfood
Texans, TPWD is seeking comments on the management of snow goose. I’m on the advisory Committee and have seen some compelling research and evidence of large-scale population decline raising questions on current mgmt practices, like Spring Conserv season. https://t.co/YaOzerLCY3
