These Edmontonians spent several days building 215 miniature teepees on the steps of St. Joseph’s Basilica, one for each child found buried on the grounds at the former Kamloops Indian Residential School.

Following the tragedy in Kamloops, my class decided to create a shoe memorial inspired by Haida artist Tamara Bell. “We created this to honour the victims and survivors of residential schools and to remind people this can never happen again” #EveryChildMatters 🧡

Bubble science! Ms. Ward and Ms. Ramens’ classes explored the “why” behind bubbles, including: why are bubbles different colours? Why are bubbles always circular? Why does bubble solution work better than just soap and water?
