I think one of the things general punditry has struggled with when it comes to Arteta’s Arsenal is that, from the very beginning, his manifesto was about being good at everything. More generalist media is so stretched now that it’s likely to pick up on one singular thing and enormously focus on it, but in a way that just doesn’t reflect the actual reality.
