Kenyans deserve justice that is transparent, reasoned, and accountable.
Today, I have petitioned the Judicial Service Commission @jsckenya to investigate three Court of Appeal judges who suspended High Court orders blocking the Kenya-US Health Cooperation Framework, but withheld their reasons for doing so until October 2026.
My concern is not that they ruled against me. It is that an immediately enforceable decision was issued without reasons, effectively frustrating a timely appeal to the @THE_SCOK and denying Kenyans meaningful access to justice.
Judicial independence must be protected. But independence and accountability must go hand in hand. No institution is above the Constitution.

Legal Petition Filed Against the VAT Special Table –
A constitutional petition (HCCOMMPET-E013-2025) has been filed challenging the Kenya Revenue Authority’s (KRA) implementation of the controversial “VAT Special Table”.
The petition seeks urgent judicial intervention to suspend and review this administrative action, which tax professionals argue is opaque, unlawful, and unconstitutional.
Petitioners:
CPA Peter Opiyo, CPA Peter Gacheru, and CPA Denis Nyambati- tax agents acting on behalf of affected taxpayers.
Interested Parties:
-ICPAK and the Law Society of Kenya —
Key Highlights from the Petition:
-The VAT Special Table is allegedly enforced without legal backing, public participation, or transparency, violating taxpayer rights.
-Affected businesses have been denied the right to generate tax invoices and claim input VAT — core rights under Sections 5 and 17 of the VAT Act.
-The process mimics constructive deregistration of VAT PINs, without due process or notice, contrary to Section 10 and 12 of the Tax Procedures Act, 2015.
-Petitioners argue that no statutory provision empowers KRA to suspend, deactivate, or restrict VAT PINs under this so-called “Special Table” framework.
-The case raises serious constitutional concerns including violations of the right to fair administrative action and fair hearing under Article 47 of the Constitution.
The petition seeks:
-Immediate suspension of the VAT Special Table pending full determination of the case.
-Inclusion of other affected taxpayers as petitioners or interested parties.
-A review of KRA’s powers and procedures under relevant tax laws.
A certificate of urgency has been filed for this case ! Let it rain .

I have been shocked beyond words by some of the speeches here in Bungoma County.
If those who spoke are the people he listens to, Ruto is in more trouble than he knows. Freedom of speech cannot be limited beyond the limitations in Article 33.
Even that Computer Misuse law those ignorant leaders have cited is Unconstitutional. Social media is not the problem. The problem is the policies of this regime that continue to hurt Kenyans.
