Too often in Slay the Spire 2 your loss is based entirely on luck rather than skill. Example: if you don't get the cards that back you away while facing the boss that swallows you, then you'll die. Period.

Still having fun with the game, but that's a design flaw imo.

@CowboysLead Probably underrated. Convinced Jerry to start spending high draft capitol on the OLine. No other coach since him has gotten us over the hump either. I like our current coaching staff best of any since Parcells. He'd rank 3rd on that list behind the last two but ahead of Wade.

@AnchorLightPub Citizens already have the power to enforce this - they just don't care. The problem with making a law is (1) it may just waste money in court cases only to be ruled unconsitutional and (2) medicine might solve the problem. There are already drugs to help with some elder decline.

We did it this way: Money to pay off mortgage in a 3.5% interest savings account vs 2.125% mortgage. We put in roughly 93% of the money to pay it off because the accruing interest would pay the rest.

We get the same cash flow as paying it off + pay off was 7% cheaper. And I'd call that conservative. Moderate risk would be putting it into a NASDAQ index fund where it would accrue much faster (but we'd be subject to market fluctuations if we ever wanted to pay it off completely.)

@AttackOnCowboys Giving both firsts hurts you in Free Agency becuase you also have to pay the guy 30m a year. First round draft picks are cheap labor comparitively speaking.

Smart move: keep your picks, spend some money for good if not top 5 free agents at multiple positions.

@Marcus_Mosher The first question isn't if they are a player away, it's if they are a coach away. There's no doubt that coaching was the #1 problem last year.

That said, I wouldn't spend premium draft capitol to help fix the issue. Hitting on 1st round picks is how we afford free agents.

@Lord_Dylly I think not extending because you can lock someone up for multiple years using tags will hurt you when it comes to getting free agents to come to your team. That’s one reason why a lot of teams don’t do that. Agents want the contract, players listen to agents.

Given that they could sell it for 700k and the majority of mortgage is actually going into principle (unlike the post suggests), they mostly broke even. And that's with what appears to be a fix-me-upper (high repair cost). Next time, buy a better house.

I've always thought EA Madden misses an opportunity post-Super Bowl. They should release a free agency/draft update and let people take over the build for 2026.

They may worry it would take away from the next version's sales, but if they deliver on features, that wouldn't happen.

@DannyPhantom24 Draft Safety / LB, sign Edge and neglect CB. We already have two starting CB (betting on Revel), S is crucial for this defense, LB will likely have best impact if drafting #20 and signing an edge gives us a better idea of what we are getting at the position.
