@MarkMcGrathCFP To optimize the strategy on paper you would go with variable rate loan and interest only payments. Today not many people have the stomach for that I find… but many of our legacy clients did very well with this in the past.

For example a cap gain of $250k at 26.76% would result in a tax liability of $66,900 where the table lists $66,913. Even at 26.77% the amount would be $66,925.

Is there a variable I am not considering?
