@dharnishiqbal Is it fair to say he was a relative late bloomer? Started getting good ‘numbers’ in his first Sporting season in 17/18 when he was 23yo. His time in Italy beforehand was very unremarkable - I guess he certainly wasn’t a protege.

@nikstorey_ @Ankaman616 I really don’t think there’d be the clamour after last time, & it wouldn’t even be much of an achievement, & really don’t think INEOS would appoint him permanently precisely cos of last time. Any competent manager playing 4atb with 1 game a week should get us CL - even Ole.

@nikstorey_ @Ankaman616 Totally agree. Fed up trying to ‘scale up’ managers. A superclub needs a superclub manager. Ideally PL experience too but Enrique good enough without. Re Ole - totally agree such short memories. Diabolical by the end. Why confidence Carrick/Fletch would be any better though?

@nikstorey_ Personally think he’s been overrated and cunha’s been underrated for us so far. Mbeumo always been someone who needs on pitch relationships - see Toney, Wissa - so we need the attack to gel
