History of Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi
1. 1973 – Born on 19 October in Butambala District, Uganda.
2. 1986 – Completed Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) at Gombe Primary School.
3. 1990 – Obtained the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) from Kibuli Secondary School.
4. 1993 – Obtained the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) from Kibuli Secondary School.
5. 1998 – Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Makerere University.
6. 2003 – Earned an Associate Degree in Democracy and Development from Uganda Martyrs University.
7. 2004 – Obtained a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
8. 1990s – Began political activism, advocating for democracy, constitutionalism, and good governance.
9. 2000s – Active member of the Democratic Party (DP).
10. 2011 – Successfully became Member of Parliament for Butambala County after a court process arising from the parliamentary election.
11. 2021 – Re-elected as Member of Parliament for Butambala County under the National Unity Platform (NUP).
12. 2021–2025 – Served as Chairperson of the Buganda Parliamentary Caucus and Chairperson of Parliament's Public Accounts Committee (Central Government).
13. January 2025 – Appointed Deputy President for the Buganda Region of the National Unity Platform (NUP).
14. January 2026 – Arrested and charged over alleged election-related violence following the general elections; he denied the allegations, and the case remains before the courts.

Now with the sovereignty bill, which gains are we protecting. If even many pushing for it don't understand it, it's only that our gov'nt is losing control and no hopes of gaining confidence again in ugandans.
