1/ Last month Snapchat launched "AI Sponsored Snaps": ads you can have a conversation with, right in the chat feed.

Snap's pitch: "Conversation is becoming the most valuable real estate in advertising."

3/ Same trick shows up in 3 places:
- the feed (keeps them scrolling)
- the wallet (times + prices the offer to the kid)
- the relationship (AI "friends" baked into normal apps)

Ik ben sneller. Niet overbodig.

6/ The question parents should be asking isn't "how do we ban this."

It's whether we're a real alternative — someone a kid can bring something hard to without it becoming weird, without being lectured.

If yes, the bot has competition. If not, it wins by default.
