On top of the fact I don’t think he understands his scheme well enough to actually make adjustments when things are going south

They struggle with basic communication, make almost no adjustments and play soft zone causing WR’s to get an easy release with no resistance.

Evero is the poster boy for “fake it till you make it” as a DC 🤦🏻‍♂️

But that’s also what happens when you have a coach calling the D who understands the scheme and how to use his players properly.

@stop_n_look I think it’s both, but evero forces players to conform to his scheme instead of modifying it to fit his players and what they do well

It’s basically play my way or hit the highway 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

Plus he has 4-3 players that he’s trying to force into a 3-4 scheme

@AimzPotatz The main issue is he doesn’t modify his scheme to allow his players to do what they’re good at. He forces them to play “his way” instead of adapting his defense to allow them to be successful.

He refuses to modify his defense and it’s always going to be someone else’s fault 🙄

@MattyIceee__ @4ourmanrush The corners play soft coverage 10-12 yards deep every play, they rarely attack with LB’s and safety’s on the blitz, the players constantly look confused and out of position etc

It’s one of the worst defenses I’ve ever seen concept wise.

Corners playing to deep, safeties out of position regularly, 2 down lineman in certain sets…it’s a royal mess. Go back to a 4-3 already

That’s a head coach answer, put evero on notice and make him earn that job if he wants to keep it
