The story takes a left turn, showing clear police corruption on video as officers protect store owners who won't return the Lego. I've been hooked on the story and wrote a detailed recap.
A large US company, Bricks & Minifigs, is having its reputation destroyed on social media over a $200k Lego collection. Most of it was stolen from the owner, a dying grandfather wanting to sell the Lego and give the money to his grandchildren.

@veritasium This is a disappointing one-sided biased video, and no, I'm not a Monsanto shill - the company has been dead for years. Do better Veritasium. Scientific consensus supports the safety of glyphosate: https://t.co/Mj5XfaLWj8
@jimsoundservice @ProjectKuiper @NSF On their website:
"Project Kuiper began a full-scale deployment in April 2025—the first of more than 80 launches from Arianespace, Blue Origin, SpaceX, and United Launch Alliance (ULA)—to deploy our initial satellite constellation."
They are already using SpaceX.
@KenPaxtonTX Gross. Healthcare should be free to everyone, and yet you target the most vulnerable. Glad I live in a country that will pay for everyone's healthcare.
A continuation of my research into the Ryans of Coolnapisha, Limerick, using records that I've never explored, going back 380 years ago.

@Freedominded@zakiscorner I'm not one who enjoys cheap or corny shows, which is why I couldn't get into Dr. Who, The Flash (and other Arrowverse shows), She-Hulk, etc.
But for Acolyte, I'm still interested in the unanswered questions. I'll wait until it's finished before writing my review.
@aquestionfouru@Freedominded@zakiscorner Sure. But some of the stuff I've been seeing is going overboard. The show is nowhere near as bad as its rating. I couldn't watch five minutes of the holiday special! It's not nearly as bad as that. But I can't disagree that plenty of people are pissed off.
@Freedominded@zakiscorner Except it's mostly being 1-starred (59%) on IMDB. I do think there is a breaking point, but for the anti-woke groups to attack the show. It's gone viral, in a way. It's not a great show, but it doesn't deserve the hate it is getting.
Ryans of Coolnapisha, part 3, is completed. This one required a ton of hours of work! This information will help break down those brick walls in Irish genealogy.

@BrianGurrin@NARIreland Yeah, it's a good one. I just wish I knew the borders of the Parishes at that time. Would you know if the Pallasgreen area was under Doon or Toem Parishes at that time? I see a surviving 1766 census map, but it isn't detailed enough.
My latest genealogy research, the hunt for the Ryan Darbys of Coolnapisha and Drumwood. Hopefully, some of the tips I shared will help those stuck with their Irish family history.
