@given2tweet I thought it was incredible. Couldn't stop thinking about it after. I think obviously Nathan Fielder is a bit too credulous but it made the movie more interesting.
I still don't understand why people think low information, hard to reach voters would want to overwhelmingly vote for the people in power in every branch of government. Trump and the Republicans are a completely different value proposition then they were in 2022 and 2024.
I completely agree with Zachary here. Early vote in Florida is not actually that good for Dems, at most it'll be a few points bluer than 2022.
The numbers right now for day 4 10 AM:
IPEV: R+11
Mail: D+5
Combined early vote: R+3.6
This is significantly redder than yesterday
Trump on Ramaswamy Ad: The press has ganged up on a woman making a horrible statement about her daughter, and I don't know why she the daughter should be shielded. She said she was a dirty liar. I don’t know why you aren’t allowed to say that.
This is one talking point that I think is way overblown. The model progress has been steady, not exponential, and progress could easily be slowing down.
OpenAI's internal models are WAY more powerful than people think
The fact that GPT-5.6 Sol found a PHP security flaw yesterday is genuinely impressive
Honestly, I think people are sleeping on what OpenAI is building behind the scenes
Anthropic has been cooking with fable 5.5 but I wouldn't underestimate OpenAI for a second We only see a fraction of what OpenAi is testing internally and there's a big difference between what a company has in development and what it actually releases to the public
OpenAI's internet-focused model is expected to arrive before the end of 2026 or early next year
I have a feeling OpenAI isn't done surprising people this year
CNN: Republicans outperform senate polls in Trump states by an average of 4.1 points
If that pattern continues:
Ohio: 🔵 Dem +4 -> 🔴 GOP +0.1
Michigan: 🔵 Dem +3 -> 🔴 GOP +1
Alaska: 🔵 Dem +3 -> 🔴 GOP +1
Texas: 🔵 Dem +3 -> 🔴 GOP +1
Iowa: 🔵 Dem +1 -> 🔴 GOP +3
