@thephpa I really hope the @ECHL gets this right. I'm a long time fan, and I don't want to see the season affected, but as a proud #Union teacher myself, I won't cross a picket line. I stand in solidarity with the players in this dispute.
@EDSecMcMahon@usedgov Yes, we need to make sure states don't pretend it's 1950 again. That's your primary job. You don't pay me. You don't design my curriculum. And Trump and the GOP kept us shut down. Quit lying and violating the Hatch Act.
@SouthwestAir I'm gonna say it as may places as I can find you. You still have time to step back from the brink. As an Atlanta-based traveler, I have two words for you to remember. "New Coke."
@Georgia_AG Is this really the sword the GOP wants to fall on? Canceling student loans for people that have usually paid back more than they borrowed is good for the overall economy.
I feel @Georgia_AG never read section 2 of the #15thAmendment. Why does he support overturning the VRA? Why does he want to make it harder to vote? Mayve because his party's platform isn't either popular or morally right.
@SizemoreSuzette @BrianKempGA@SecCardona I was in the committee meeting when the Dems were asking for hand-marked paper ballots, and we ended up with the machines instead.
Re-listening to the debate โ it is undeniable @JoeBiden had a terrible night. Why do i prefer a stumbling, bumbling, rambling truth-teller over a glib, motor-mouthed liar? I guess itโs because I love our democracy and donโt want to lose it.
@NicholasFerroni I'm starting year 20 in August. I'm not going anywhere. There are a lot of demands, but like you, I love interacting with my students and watching them grow. I love seeing who they become when they leave my classroom. It is tough, though, and I see why so many of us do leave.

I attended the Biden event in Los Angeles last night. Fantastic, but it made me think about a few things.
Iโve been around a minute. Lived through several Presidential races. I remember not being excited about the candidates, but I have never in my life fixed my lips to say, Iโm not voting because of it. Neither did my grandparents who survived Jim Crow and were not always welcomed at the polls.
I donโt understand folks who are saying that today.
Your top issue isnโt being talked about enough or going the way you think it should? Letโs survive now and live to fight another day. But first, look beyond what youโre seeing covered by the media, because Biden is not getting the same coverage that Trump is getting. And much of that coverage is skewed. Itโs likely your issue is being worked on and you have been heard โ so look deeper!
We donโt have to invite the candidates over for tea and crumpets, but staying home when we have the Supreme Court that we have, is short-sided and a disservice to those of us who see Trump as the number one danger that he is promising to be.
NO CHOICE โ IS A CHOICE FOR TRUMP!!!
