@brightlightx2 Hey Rod, hope you’re holding up ok without the little guy. My cat Finch was the spit of him and it hit me harder than I could have imagined when he passed. Could see from pics how happy and loved he was by you. Lots of love x

@MichaelRosenYes Saw him (and you!) at the Poets against War night in 2003. Me and my friends are just looking for the photos we took with him afterwards. What a loss
@Benji_Davies The thing that makes this statement so awful is that if you raise a kid solely on generative trash, as these people seem to want, then it may well end up being true, not just in their childhood but forever. Kids need protecting from these people

I directed this animated explainer for Mustafa Suleyman’s fascinating new book, the Coming Wave, with the talented team at @wearecognitive - it was a real labour of love that’s occupied my thoughts for a few months now. So proud to see it out in the world
I've devoted my life to building new technology
Now, with The Coming Wave, I tell the story of tech in the 21st century and suggest ways we can ensure this story ends well.
I share some crucial ideas from my book in this video animation:

@meemalee I had loads of them yesterday too - he's been targeted a lot by pro-hunting/anti-environmentalists, trying to intimidate & discredit (see his recent libel victory) so seems likely an extension of that
So Dial of Destiny - Lots to enjoy, no major missteps, only significant criticism is it felt a little overlong. Will definitely return to it as I have done repeatedly with the rest of the series (yes, even Crystal Skull)
Dial of Destiny was actually…. Pretty good? Worked as a sequel to Crystal Skull (which I have a soft spot for despite its myriad flaws) and made it feel less of an outlier, but the story/characters/action/scripts consistently better.
Music was lush - not too much reliance on the main theme (which had to be there, of course) no cheap recycling of other motifs (the holy grail theme shoehorned into Crystal Skull’s ending for no good reason) look forward to listening closely on further watches to get to know
