Today, Christians throughout the world celebrate Good Friday. This is one of the most meaningful days for believers because we recognize the suffering and torture that Jesus went through as His sacrifice for our sins. Through Christ’s suffering and sacrifice, He made possible the greatest gifts of all: forgiveness, redemption and eternal life.
May Christians throughout the world worship in peace because today we must remember that Christianity, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, is under siege. I would urge us all to pray for the safety and wellbeing of our Christian brothers and sisters in troubled lands. May God bless them and keep them safe on this and every day.
I shake my head at Eritrean diaspora which sings the praises of dictator Isaias. If he's so great, why don't they go home to his "paradise" instead of staying in corrupt West? Of course, in Eritrea, they couldn't insult people on X due to no internet. Isn't hypocrisy wonderful?!
The aspiring dictator of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has fun in the U.K. while Nigeria burns, as we have seen in the recent bombings in Maiduguri. The drug lord in Asorock is an international disgrace. The U.S. has the full right to do a "Maduro" on the wannabe dictator in Asorock, should it decide to do so.
@mulugetaermias1 I think many Orthodox followers is stupid, why you dont call the name of killer , radical islamist. We all know Arsi Islam Majority Areas
Ghana as well as other African nations remain peaceful today because Muslims are still a minority and lack political leverage.
When Muslims make up 40–50% of a country, there’s a higher risk of sectarian conflict, terrorism and instability;
Where ever they dominate they send war and instability to move quickly. From Lebanon, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Nigeria and Sudan.
