I'm old enough to remember when, growing up in Victoria, the uniparty demonised Pauline Hanson and her supporters so relentlessly that they were genuinely afraid for their safety. Week after week the ABC ran skits portraying her as racist and mocking her relationships and personal attributes. Jeff Kennett called her "feral". It wasn't just eggs being thrown at her events, but condoms filled with excrement, light bulbs and bricks. What she and those original supporters were subjected too was horrific. Forgive me if I have absolutely zero sympathy for Jacinta Allan's dummy spit and deflection about a poster.
