Working on the record book is always an interesting time because it's when we catch things we probably should have seen during the season.
For instance, Kale Clague (56) and Garrett Brown (59) were each the first player to wear their respective numbers in franchise history.
Kyle Connor is a great example of the proverbial switch flipping in pro hockey.
First 32 AHL games of 2016-17: 8 goals, 10 assists
Final 20 AHL games of 2016-17: 17 goals, 9 assists
That 20-game run was bonkers to watch.
Anyone watching the @ManitobaMoose quickly can see what Tyrel Bauer brings on the ice. But off the ice is where he is truly making his presence felt.

Former @ManitobaMoose defenceman Leon Gawanke (2019-23) buries one at the World Championship.
Gawanke holds the single-season franchise record for goals by a defenceman, tallying 20 goals in 2022-23.
Moose leading goal-scorer Samuel Fagemo heads to the SHL to join Frölunda HC for the upcoming season.
He tallied 19 goals and 35 points with Manitoba in 2025-26 and added two playoff goals.
Fagemo scored more goals than any other AHL player during his six seasons in the league.
