Per multiple close sources:

A quick heads-up for anyone heading to the @Round1USA x One Piece collaboration event at the Puente Hills Mall in La Puente.

It looks like they will have a shortage of about 500 to 700 promo packs because scalpers exploited the distribution system. It is estimated that number could be higher but it was verified that scalpers had looped back in and confirmed they received additional packs. With today approaching, the number should grow as they aim to target this exploit again.

If you are already registered for pickup, it's a good idea to head over and secure your cards as soon as you can.

Sidenote: it is confirmed that staff removed the rubberband/white banding prior to distribution and the cards are mixed up in various order, so do not expect a master set from this location.

For those heading out, here is a little info on what to expect so you can stay comfortable:

Wait Times: Lines are currently taking about 4 to 6 hours.

The Venue: The initial line is set up outside and then inside a section of the mall that currently doesn't have air conditioning. So be prepared for heat directly and indirectly.

What to Bring: With the current heat wave, definitely pack plenty of water, some portable fans, and a folding chair to make the wait easier.

A Quick Tip: Given the heat and the long wait times, it’s highly recommended to leave the kiddos at home for this one.
