Updates from @vero_skills today are all about the new portal for internships🤌
Working hard on the concept with @Danielwwalsh & Ivan Seleznev🤓
@thiswillblossom cannot wait for your designs!
Here are some interesting stats from the latest 7 months of work🤓:
• we usually deliver 70% of the planned features for the month (7 out of 10 planned features)
• we deliver up to 50% of the additional features in a month (5 additional features above 7 out of 10 planned ones)
Today we are having a monthly planning meeting with @vero_skills. We usually plan for the appr. 50% of our team's capacity to be able to respond to immediate requests & feedback from users.
And how do you plan for your startup? Or is it all feedback only based?
We slowed our product roadmap since our platform was good enough for paying customers. We relied more on contractors than W2 employees and focused on getting intros to every potential customer and sold like our lives depended on it 😆 Went from the first $15K in revenue in Dec 2022 to now, we're at $1.1m ARR.
When getting rejected by a VC as an entrepreneur, my first thought is usually to be defensive and think, “They missed out.” This tendency is not something I am alone in sharing but something every entrepreneur struggles with.
This is an opportunity to grow and improve your company, take every bit of constructive feedback, be humble, and learn from it. This feedback is a gift, and if you have this perspective, you can't not win!
